Extremely popular a century ago, poetry battles are in fashion again. Once a month, usually on a Saturday evening, we get together to listen and recite (not necessarily by heart) favorite poems in an almost homely atmosphere. Severyanin inspires each reciter with homemade liqueurs and prizes.
